U.S. To Face Sweden In Junior Worlds Hockey Final

Sweden defeated Russia 3-2 in a penalty shootout Thursday, with Sebastian Collberg scoring the winner, to advance to the final of the world junior hockey championship.

Niklas Lundstrom made 27 saves for the victory, while Andrei Vasilevski stopped 38 shots for Russia.

In the final, the Americans will face defending champion Sweden for gold on Saturday, after the Americans posted a 5-1 win over Canada in the early semifinal.

Host Russia will play Canada for bronze.
