Fearless Surfer Catches 100ft "World’s Biggest" Wave

Via The Sun:

A veteran surfer looks to have broken the world record for the largest wave ever surfed by plummeting down a ten-storey mountain of water.

Surf legend Garrett McNamara already holds the Guinness world record for a 78ft wave he caught in the same rough seas off the coast of Nazare, Portugal, in 2011.

The surf champ’s latest effort came about yesterday thanks to a huge swell that attracted surfers from all over the world to the infamous wave break.

After dodging death last time, McNamara said: “Everything came together, everything felt right. I knew it was big, but I didn’t know how big”.
