Via The Sun:
A popular yoga pants maker has been forced to pull millions of its tights off the shelves because they were see-through.
The blunder – by posh sports brand Lululemon – meant that hundreds of thousands of women across the world were left red-faced mid-way through work-outs.
The multi-million pound worldwide company – with a branch on the trendy King’s Road in London – revealed the gaffe this week saying the sheer material used for its newest Luon pants is too revealing.
They said: “The ingredients, weight, and longevity qualities of the pants remain the same, but the coverage does not. We want you to Down Dog and Crow with confidence and we felt these pants didn’t measure up”.
The announcement has sparked a fall in the company’s share price.
On social media, several observers suggested that Lululemon cut their losses and find a use for the errant pants.
Others were a bit puzzled by the recall, nodding to the retailer’s reputation for selling sexy pants.
Lisa Garcia said @lululemon is recalling black yoga pants for being too revealing.
Isn’t that why we decided to wear them in the first place?
Jack Bauer said: “Lululemon yoga pants pulled off shelves because they’re too sheer. I would think this would be a selling point”.
R.Rodriguez said: “Wait, you mean to tell me that Lululemon yoga pants are not supposed to be see through???”
